I grew up believing anything is possible and everything can be achieved. If you put in the ambition, the work ethic, the effort, and believe in yourself, then you could do anything you set your mind to. This is always something I have tried to instill in my former students from the beginning, and I have been fortunate enough to see the idea ignite a spark in many of them.

Traveling is something I have done since I was an infant. I was a few months old when I embarked on my first overseas flight, six when I flew by myself on a transnational plane, and really, the countries explored from that point on hold some of my favorite memories. All that experience amid a variety of cultures made it an easy decision to major in Anthropology for my undergraduate degree.

After completing my masters in teaching, I taught EFL in South Korea for over two years. Living in a foreign country while participating in an exchange of cultures between my colleagues and students has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. In 2014, I transitioned to Colorado to continue teaching English Language Learners for the following two years.

Now, things are about to change. Herein lies my journey and all the miles in between.
